The story by Marta Muñoz (winner of 1st ESO C)

• In a small town, called Infinitville, there was the end of the world. It happened that the end of the world was on Christmas Eve and everyone was scared and worried. Santa Claus was at home, he did not know it was the end of the world, he was very happy because it was Christmas Eve. He and his wife were having dinner at a train station. Santa's sleigh was broken, he was too tired. That night was difficult for him: he had to go around the world flying with his unicorn, and as he was fat, he didn't know if the unicorn could endure all night. Santa Claus thought: 'I would not get to deliver all the presents' and he decided to call eight poor children living in the streets, from a culture. Santa Claus took his 'teleporter' and transported the eight children to his home, in the North Pole. The kids were sad because it was the end of the world and they were too young to die. The children explained everything to Santa and he went blank. He looked at his magic ball and it turned out that it wasn't the end of the world, but that the witches, ghosts and monsters went to the children's house and robbed certain gifts because they hated them. Then Santa Claus left the children with Mama Claus and ran to talk to the monsters, witches and ghosts. Santa Claus told the bad people they were going to ruin Christmas and Santa Claus and these bad people came to an agreement: 'the children would stop hating them and they would leave children with Christmas'.
• After one hour: Santa Claus and the kids were on the runaway, ready to take off with their unicorns, and each of them carried two bags hanging on them (the unicorns). It was dawn; the children and Santa Claus were found in Mexico. They stopped to take some 'tacos' and then went to Santa's house to play with his toys.
• After ten years: The children living in the street were left to live at Santa's home and they weren't hungry anymore!
